In 2013 I had over 30 terrariums I built from scratch. As it's a tedious task I felt there must be a better solution. The general alternate option is to buy a Aqueon aquarium. Most do this during the Petco or Pet Supplies Plus dollar per gallon sale.

These tanks are easy to get locally. They could be modified with vertical conversion kits sold online by a few companies. Those companies are not in business anymore. These kits were all glass and opened from the bottom, presenting their own issue.

With the advent of open source 3D printing technology I felt there must be a better solution. It should include side hinges, a tight waterproof base, an easy way to add a misting system, and a clean design. I wanted form and function. So this is what I developed.

The FrogFace Beta v2.0 conversion kit. Still in beta, but ready for testing.
